im a loser :'(

im a junior in high school, and i barely have any friends, because i guess im what you call the "shy type".
i only have like 2 good friends, and at lunch i barely talk to any of the kids at the table, unless its for a homework assignment or something.
i just feel like im an outcast and nobody wants anything to do with me.
i mean sometimes i'll sit here on the computer and look at my friends picture albums on myspace and stuff, and i get kinda upset when i see her in pictures with all the people at our lunch table, and i feel bad that im not in groups like that.
my one friend and i planned on going to see twilight when it came out awhile back, but now it turns out shes going with these other girls.
i mean i got kinda jealous, bcause i have nobody else to go with.
and i dont know how to make new friends, because i dont know how to talk to people.
what can i do to make friends?

Alright, The thing is. You can't be the shy type. You need to be fun and outgoing. I was never shy, but you can't be too shy that people are going to think that you're wierd. But still. Have a go at it. Ask the people at your lunch table if they want to go see the New movie that just came out. Etc. Stuff like that :)
